This past weekend we shared one of our favorite things about fall with Samuel – PUMPKINS! Â My mom came up to babysit for the afternoon so we could visit the fall Home Show baby free (yep, we are those people – date day at the home show so we can dream about projects for our new house). Before we left the two buddies to play together we couldn’t resist the chance to take our little dude out to one of our favorite little farms with his Grandma Lynn. Â It was a beautiful, warm fall day – perfect for pumpkin patch adventures.
Though he didn’t say in so many words, Samuel loved the place. Â He giggled at the cows and the chickens and gnawed on apple slices. Â He even went down a slide with his Daddy for the first time (we didn’t get the enthusiastic reaction we hoped for but he didn’t seem to mind it), and chose a tiny pumpkin for himself.
Fall days are, and will always be, my favorite. Â I can’t wait for Samuel to run through the corn maze and get muddy searching for a pumpkin out in the patch. Â
