The Adventures of the Halstead Fam!

Fall Has Come & Gone

We had an amazing fall!  After a summer of galavanting through Europe and riding our bikes longer and farther than we ever have before, we enjoyed a mellow but full fall.  It is hard to see fall go away because it is my favorite season, but I can’t lie – I am so excited for snow!

Before summer officially ended we celebrated our friends Mindi & Jason as they waited for their fourth son, Carter Leroy, arrive.  Mindi rocked her pregnancy all the way through and Jason is an awesome dad.  Their three older boys, Tristan, Ethan, and Noah are all professional big brothers as well.

Carter was born November 4th – he’s perfect and full of smiles and baby coos.

Theresa and Jaden also made it over for a little visit.  We went to Detering Orchards, picked out pumpkins, played on the tractor, splashed in puddles, giggled at cows, and had a great little visit on a surprisingly warm fall day.  We love our nephew!  He’s a ham for sure.

Driving tractor with Uncle Stead….

A couple weeks ago I had a conference for school that was hosted at Disneyland, so of course we jumped on the opportunity!  Everything was decorated for Christmas, which normally bothers me before Thanksgiving, however, Disney does such a good job it was beautiful.

Here’s hoping for lots of snow and winter adventures to come!
