The past couple of months have been busy, busy, busy! Â But, what else is new for the Halsteads? Â It seems as though we are always up to something and if I am not working on a project Stead is. Â We are nearing the end of our graduate school journey – only 13 more months and I will join Stead as a graduate of NCU with a Masters degree to hang on my wall. Â I am excited to see how the final details of this journey will pan out and what will come after commencement in May 2015. Â But for now, as we wait and dream of the future, I just felt the urge to say something….
I love Stead. Â I am grateful for Stead. Â I don’t know what I would do without him.
The past couple of months I have been asking a lot of questions, wrestling with a lot of decisions and being very impatient when it comes to trusting on God and His timing. Â But through it all, Stead has been the hug to greet me and calm me at night, the joyful smile and a silly song to set my attitude right in the morning, and a “woo woo” of encouragement outside my office window throughout the day. Â I am blessed beyond words to have a husband who truly is my best friend, who encourages me constantly and (for some reason) never seems to get fed up with me when I am not the most pleasant person to be around.
Thank you my love. Â I am so grateful that I am yours and you are mine. Â And to our family and friends, thank you for walking with us with prayer and encouraging words.
