The Adventures of the Halstead Fam!

This Guy.

The past couple of months have been busy, busy, busy!  But, what else is new for the Halsteads?  It seems as though we are always up to something and if I am not working on a project Stead is.  We are nearing the end of our graduate school journey – only 13 more months and I will join Stead as a graduate of NCU with a Masters degree to hang on my wall.  I am excited to see how the final details of this journey will pan out and what will come after commencement in May 2015.  But for now, as we wait and dream of the future, I just felt the urge to say something….

I love Stead.  I am grateful for Stead.  I don’t know what I would do without him.

The past couple of months I have been asking a lot of questions, wrestling with a lot of decisions and being very impatient when it comes to trusting on God and His timing.  But through it all, Stead has been the hug to greet me and calm me at night, the joyful smile and a silly song to set my attitude right in the morning, and a “woo woo” of encouragement outside my office window throughout the day.  I am blessed beyond words to have a husband who truly is my best friend, who encourages me constantly and (for some reason) never seems to get fed up with me when I am not the most pleasant person to be around.

Thank you my love.  I am so grateful that I am yours and you are mine.  And to our family and friends, thank you for walking with us with prayer and encouraging words.
