Merry Christmas to all! Our holiday travels have taken us across the state and back again. We have seen snow, rain, sunshine, and lots of family scattered across Washington. We also have been checking off geo caches along the way; before we left Bellingham we set a goal to find 40 caches throughout our holiday adventures and in just a week we only have 9 left!
This holiday has been a reminder of how blessed we are. As we have popped from place to place to see our families we have been welcomed with warm hugs, bright smiles, our favorite holiday treats, exciting presents, a willingness to geo cache with us, and encouragement. We are so grateful for the people God has put in our lives.
As I write this post Stead is putting together his present from me – an AM radio. We might be listening to a talk show by the end of the night! This morning we played with my awesome present from him – a bola bola set (i.e. ladder golf)! After uncovering my treasure from a blanket in the living room we took it outside in our pj’s and bare feet to toss the bolas at the rack Stead had built from PVC pipes. I felt like I was a little kid again I was so excited to play.
