Tonight between getting home from work and our small group filling our living room we did something crazy – we took the first official step in planning and tackling a long awaited adventure. We will be spending the last 2 weeks of May in Europe! We have been blessed with a life that has equipped us with resources and thanks to Stead’s stewardship of our finances we are on the verge of being completely debt free. Why wouldn’t we celebrate that with a grand adventure!?
There is a lot of planning and geography to work through over the course of the next 3 months. Stead has had the opportunity to read a little more about Europe than I have, but I do know one thing I can’t go to Europe without doing – the Cinque Terra. It’s a long hike along the coast of Italy, winding through olive orchards, fields of wild flowers, beautiful old villages and towns, and views of the Italian coast all along the way. I can’t wait to explore and take it all in!
